INTRODUCTION OF THE NEW Opolucis 2940 Laser series

DPSS AND OPO BASED TECHNOLOGY

Carlsbad, CA – February 16, 2026 – Opotek LLC introduces the Opolucis 2940, an all-air-cooled Diode-Pumped Solid State (DPSS) pumped optical parametric oscillator (OPO) that generates 2940 nm. All components (DPSS pump laser, harmonics, OPO, optics, cooling heatsink/fan and electronics) are integrated into a single housing for ease of integration into instrumentation with space constraints and cannot tolerate water-cooling solutions. Highlighted tunable laser features include:

  • All-in-one housing that requires only power and USB connections
  • All-air-cooling
  • Diode-Pumped Solid State (DPSS) technology
  • MIR 2940 nm wavelength for water desorption and other related applications
  • No factory installation required
  • Options for motorized variable attenuation and SMA fiber coupling assembly
