INTRODUCTION OF THE NEW Opolucis AIR series
All-in-one, All-air-cooled TUNABLE OPO LASER
Carlsbad, CA – February 16, 2026 – Opotek LLC introduces the Opolucis AIR, an all-air-cooled Diode-Pumped Solid State (DPSS) pumped optical parametric oscillator (OPO) with tuning ranges in the ultraviolet, visible, near-infrared and mid-infrared. All components (DPSS pump laser, harmonics, OPO, optics, cooling heatsink/fan and electronics) are integrated into a single housing for ease of integration into instrumentation with space constraints and cannot tolerate water-cooling solutions. OPOTEK LLC also introduces a new OPO tuning mechanism with the Opolucis AIR that provides even better wavelength turning resolution and accuracy. Highlighted tunable laser features include:
- All-in-one housing that requires only power and USB connections
- All-air-cooling
- Diode-Pumped Solid State (DPSS) technology
- Wavelength ranges from the UV (210 nm) to the IR (2400 nm)
- All tunable beams exit the same output port simplifying experimental setup
- New more advanced OPO tuning mechanism
- No factory installation required
- Options for motorized variable attenuation, fiber delivery, real-time wavelength monitoring and fast tuning (< 50 ms)
